Product Review: Garnier Fructis Daily Care

Garnier Fructis Daily Care Silky Secret Leave-In
For Normal Hair

SMELL: It does smell a little weird I will say so myself. LOL I mean it smells like a strong old grape smell.

I purchased this product from Walgreens for $1.99 so I felt obligated to try it. It was a very cheap purchase and the bottle is 8.5fl oz. I purchased it to replace Juices and Berries since I am running super low and I did not get around to ordering some. Normally I purchase products for dry hair but once again it was $1.99 and you can not beat that with a stick! I use it before I do a braid out or do anything with my hair or I spray my hair to refresh my twists. So far it is ok...nothing amazing but just ok. I will continue using the product until I order my Oyin Juices and Berries! Would I repurchase it...hmmm only if it is on sale though.

Product Review: Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition

Hello hello
I have been MIA for awhile but I am back!!!!
I have purchased quite a few products so I will be doing plenty product reviews

SMELL: well the smell was the usually Garnier smell so I have no complaints about it.
CONSISTENCY: it is a pretty thick conditioner, I would compare to a product like any of the Herbal Essence conditioners. It gives a little but of slip and kind of helps with detangling but it is not better than the Herbal Essence conditioners I have tried. I paid $2.99 for the large bottle soooooooooooooooooooo I really cannot complain too much! Go Walgreens!!! They really have some good sales.
RESULTS: Well....truthfully...it was just OK. I love that it comes in the super huge bottle for a couple bucks BUT my first love conditioner are from the Organix product line. Those are the flippin best!!!

So I give it 3.5 Tea's outta 5

HEY HEY HEYYYYYYYY its ME!!!

I know I have been on the LONGEST hiatus imaginable! Lol but blame my laptop…it sucks…planning on getting another one soon! So just bear with me while I do what I can with what I have! Lol But lately truthfully I have not been doing much great things with my hair...I have been keeping it as basic as possible…a lot of buns and a few twist outs! Oh wait…I DID try my first wash n go…yea it was a complete BUST! It was so horrible I could not even think about taking pictures…selfish I know lol Now I attempted to use the technique Curly Nikki (www.curlynikki.com) used to get awesome hair and I completely fell short!!! OK given I did NOT have the products she recommended so that COULD be the reason AND on top of that I used all new products…silly me…ugh a crash and burn…ok first I kind of did a pre-poo/ deep conditioning treatment of some sorts using Organic Root Stimulator HAIRepair Nourishing Conditioner the banana and bamboo one…and then I had the nerves to fall asleep with it in…MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN….when I tell you my hair was like straw!!!! Super dry and it was HORRIBLE. So I tried some Tre’semme Naturals conditioner  for detangling…yea that was NOT working…not even alittle bit! Pure madness! I then grabbed both my Suave Coconut Conditioner AND my Organix Coconut milk conditioner and used all of it to fight to detangle my hair…it was some WORK. I rinsed about 80% of the conditioner out as instructed…
After I detangled my hair and put it in one big twist on top my head and then wrapped it in a t- shirt while I got dressed….and when I removed the t shirt I wanted to scream…my hair LOOKED dry although it was wet…it FELT dry…it was just nest looking and NO curl definition in the least bit CRAZY….
Ok and does it get worst? OF COURSE IT DOES…way way way worse…ok so I try and smooth some Oyin Hair Dew through it…normally hair dew is the best product but my dry hair needed something thick and the Dew is light…ok and THEN I attempted to smooth some Curls Goddess Glaze through the hair*CRASH CRASH CRASH BURN BURN BURN* and that did NOTHING for my hair….it was tragic….my hair ended up in a puff….a sad puff…I will try again and go back to the products I know….

New FAV Spot!!!

Well while in Newnan,Ga Atlantic Station this weekend I have two new fav spots to hit up while in Atl! The accessories were the greatest at both locations!!!

The first place was Pinkheart Atlanta,Ga! They are located at Atlantic Station across from Dillards right by H&M!!! They have the cutest set up and everything is greatly priced!!! Everything was so cute! I had to stay focused and only buy 2 things! Ugh! It was so hard to not buy EVERYTHING!!! So cute! You can follow them on @pinkheartatl and they can keep you posted on sales and promotional things! Love them!!!

And then we have Charming Charlie and that it is indeed! OMG the layout!!! The store is HUGE and is divided into color sections!!! So easy to find things! I mean they had purple, pink, yellow, orange, black, gold, white, gray, cream and I think brown. It was beautiful! They have purses, shoes, shirts, earrings, rings, watches, bracelets and such...It was GREAT to be in there!!!! LOVED IT!!!

I will definitely be going back there VERY soon! I have a Wish List to fulfill quickly! lol

Makes All the Sense in the World...

by Tammy Goodson of CurlyChics

How many times have you heard “I want my hair to look like yours” only to get the side eye when you explain to them that you are relaxer free? Their face completely deflates and they are immediately defeated. As if it’s the world’s best kept secret. So many women think they simply can’t do it or they think the only way to go natural is to do the big chop. “I don’t want to cut all my hair off”. You don’t have to cut it all off, you tell them. You can transition. Easier said than done, I know. I was a two time transitioner and the first time after 8 months I was done. It was too much for me and I simply wasn’t ready. Round two was equally as rough, however, I stuck it out that time. So it got me to thinking, what kept me in the game? What was different this time? Why didn’t I give up? Once the process has begun, these are the things I kept in mind.

1. Positive results are ahead.
When you can envision a positive outcome, it’s much easier to withstand tough times. Think about it. If you KNOW 100% that something awesome is in your future, doesn’t that motivate you?

2. Starting over.
You’ll have to start all over again, thus negating all the progress you’ve made thus far. Remember that everything is temporary and the struggles of transitioning will be a thing of the past. You won’t know that until you go through it though.

3. You’ll never get to see what all the hype is about.
It may sound silly but sometimes you just want to be “in on it”. You hear all of these proclamations about how it’s such a great thing to be natural, why not see for yourself?

4. It’s an obtainable goal.
Many have done it in the past and many more will do it in the future, so there’s no reason why you can’t be one of those people who accomplish it as well.

Aussie Moist and Hair Rules Review

Well hello!
I finally got a chance to use some of my new products! Ok lets start with the Aussie Moist Conditioner...well...ummm it was ok. I had my hair soft BUT it does not have much slip. The scent is very nice and I love the consistency though.I paid about $2.38 at Walmart for a bottle so it was not a big investment. I think maybe if I applied it to my hair and then added some Suave Coconut Conditioner to help with detangling...hmmm....maybe? Next time I will add some extra virgin olive oil to it...I add olive oil to just about everything and for me it makes a world of a difference. I do want to try some Sweet Almond Oil also and that is $4.99 at the local Indian store for a nice sized bottle. So I am willingly to make that purchase! lol But I am sure yall already knew I would!

Now as far as the Hair Rules Grapefruit Purifying Shampoo...well...it was just ok. It did not dry my hair out as much as other shampoos have but it did dry it out alittle. It was not horrible or very straw like compared to others but I do think my hair was clean so I think it did its job. Once again maybe if I add oils to it...maybe it would not be so drying....as you see I think oils can fix the downfalls of any product lol So far I have not been wrong...it makes a difference in my hair...

***Have You tried these products? Better results? Hmmm...can oils fix everything??? YESSSSSS lol*****

I admit...I am a bit of a PJ!

Yes! I admit it am! I did my yearly...or quarterly...some kind of time frame big hair product order! I ONLY managed to spend 80.99!!!
