My plans...

OK I have come to the conclusion I need to take a big jump with my dry hair....at first i was going to use the Aphogee 2 Step Treatment:

BUT I don't think my hair needs MORE protein so I think I am first going to try MORE moisture and using better products so I think since I love the Organix products so much I want this!!!!

Moroccan Argan Oil Treatment

***Sorry the pictures are so big lol but i think I will try that and the Moroccan Argan Oil has a Curl Perfection Styling Cream that I have my eye on also....I am tempted to go on curlmart.com and go ordering crazy BUT I will reframe from it lol Still tempted though =0)

Ayurvedic Powder Recipe

Hello Hello! I have been horrible with keeping up with the blog! I so need to get better! I will try! Scouts honor!

Well in my time away I have tried my Ayurvedic Powder recipe and I like the results thus far..this is my measurements:

  • 3 teaspoons Brahmi
  • 3 teaspoons Shikakai
  • 3 teaspoons Amla
  • Half a box of Jamila Henna
I mixed it together like I would do a normal henna. I added the usual 1 cup Conditioner and this time I used Suave Naturals Coconut and 1 cup using 2 tea bags of boiled green tea and 3 teaspoons of Dabur coconut oil and 4 teaspoons of melted unrefined Shea Butter. I used a different approach this time. I premixed everything and let it sit in the fridge for about 27hrs. Now I did not like using it right out of the fridge bc it was TOO thick. Next time I will let it sit out for an hour or so and see is there is a difference.

Once I applied the henna I let it sit in for 5 hours. I usually do 8hrs or more but I was in a rush so I opted to do a longer deep condish  instead. I rinsed out the henna 3 times using Organix Acai Berry Avocado Conditioner then Herbal Essence Hello Hydration and then a good rinse using Herbal Essence None of your Frizzness. After I made sure all of the henna was out I applied the deep condish mix. I tried something different this time:

  • 1 1/2 cups Hollywood Carrot Conditioner
  • 2 teaspoons Dabur coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons melted unrefined shea butter
  • 2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
*****The mixture was EXTREMELY hard to mixed so next time I will probably use any of the Organix Conditioner or ANYTHING else besides the Hollywood Cholestrerol! It was just SO thick!!!! The Olive Oil one wasn't as thick but it is what it is!

Once the DC was in I detangled my hair and put it in several small twists and let it sit for IDK how many hours lol 6 I think. Ok then I rinsed it out which it was still in twists and then dried it lightly and REtwisted them using Oyin Honey Hemp (in which smells LOVELY) and then I left it twisted for 12 days. I retwisted it after 7 days using the same product. To moisturize it daily I mixed Aloe Vera Juice and Oyin Honey Hemp and sprayed it all over and was done!

What is up with my hair?!?

OK so idk wth is going on with my hair!!! Ok so I had my twists in for 12 days and took them out and wore a twist out for one night and sweated it out completely  at the club and then just ran some Oyin Honey Hemp through it after spraying ot down with aloe vera juice for the next 2 days. When I say my hair is dry like straw!!???!!! That is a complete understatement! It was so dry that night i decided to do a deep conditioning. I once again I used the Hollywood carrot cholesterol only due to the shortage of anything else...I let that sit overnight and the next day it was still dry...smh...guess I have to come out the pocket and get something better..my next product will be stocking up on my Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner and I do want to try some glycerin possibly the one mixed with rosewater...I will be at the store spending mad money tomorrow! Wish me luck!
