Well in my time away I have tried my Ayurvedic Powder recipe and I like the results thus far..this is my measurements:
- 3 teaspoons Brahmi
- 3 teaspoons Shikakai
- 3 teaspoons Amla
- Half a box of Jamila Henna
Once I applied the henna I let it sit in for 5 hours. I usually do 8hrs or more but I was in a rush so I opted to do a longer deep condish instead. I rinsed out the henna 3 times using Organix Acai Berry Avocado Conditioner then Herbal Essence Hello Hydration and then a good rinse using Herbal Essence None of your Frizzness. After I made sure all of the henna was out I applied the deep condish mix. I tried something different this time:
- 1 1/2 cups Hollywood Carrot Conditioner
- 2 teaspoons Dabur coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons melted unrefined shea butter
- 2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
Once the DC was in I detangled my hair and put it in several small twists and let it sit for IDK how many hours lol 6 I think. Ok then I rinsed it out which it was still in twists and then dried it lightly and REtwisted them using Oyin Honey Hemp (in which smells LOVELY) and then I left it twisted for 12 days. I retwisted it after 7 days using the same product. To moisturize it daily I mixed Aloe Vera Juice and Oyin Honey Hemp and sprayed it all over and was done!
